Discovery Samal, a beacon of luxury and compassion, recently concluded a heartwarming event in collaboration with Our Lady of Victory Training Center (OLV). The event, held on November 29, 2023, marked a significant milestone in the resort's commitment to inclusivity and community upliftment.




The event aimed to create an inclusive space for individuals from Our Lady of Victory Training Center by fostering a sense of belonging and highlighting their unique abilities. Discovery Samal’s head of departments, along with General Manager Stanley Lau, was warmly welcomed to OLV for a day filled with joy, laughter and meaningful connections.

Mr. Stanley Lau encouraged everyone by saying, “As we step into this program, let us remember the power we hold—to be used for good, to bring joy and to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most. Together, we can paint a brighter future, one where the colors of our efforts blend seamlessly to create a masterpiece of compassion."




Sister Glenda Java, the Executive Director of the center, was elated to have the opportunity to host Discovery Samal and be part of its initiative to create a more inclusive environment for everyone. km,o000


They commenced the event with inspirational performances and activities to promote skill development and empowerment. Guests and beneficiaries participated in a painting session to bond over their creativity and talent. The resort's team members and volunteers from the local community provided guidance and support, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and shared accomplishment.



As a gesture of goodwill, Discovery Samal presented Coco and Pearl bears to each participant to symbolize the partnership and spirit of the holiday season. The resort also pledged ongoing support through a fund-raising event called “Holiday Bears for a Cause,” where a percentage of the proceeds will go towards the training center, reinforcing its commitment to making a positive and lasting impact on the community.
