Condo Living: Legacy Leisure Residences Building Stronger Connections with Investors Through a Challenging Time
After the COVID-19 closed offices and paused business for a couple of months, government has relaxed on its restrictions starting in mid-May whenDavao was placed under General Community Quarantine (GCQ). On July 1, under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ), several other business establishments were given the go signal to operate with the strict safety guidelines still in effect.
Legacy Leisure Residences, the newest condominium project of homegrown developer CrisRon Holiday Builders, Inc., broke ground in January 2020. It simultaneously launched its website (www.legacyleisureresidences.com.ph) and its social media pages in Facebook and Instagram. It melded the traditional form of marketing (direct selling and print) with the new (digital format).
Two months after, the pandemic halted business in Davao. But did the selling stop for the soon-to-rise 4-tower, resort-type condominium along Ma-a Road?
“When the lockdown started, we have to stop operations and close the office and showroom. The welfare of our clients and employees was our top concern,” said Wesley Bangayan, Legacy Leisure Residences’ Vice-President for Sales and Marketing, adding, “Adapting the work from home setting, we were in constant contact with the agents and clients. Most of the inquiries were made online through our website and Facebook page, and we were able to reply to them.”
“When Davao went into GCQ in mid-May, the company resumed office operations and we opened the showroom. We jumped right to working, planning, strategizing for the future. To answer, we never really stopped,” Bangayan said.
Having prepared themselves on the digital format is an advantage, admitted Clark Yap, Vice-President of CrisRon Holiday Builders, Inc.
He said, “We expected a low turnout during these tough times but on the flip side, people where connected online via their mobile devices or computersa lot during the lockdown. There were numerous inquiries through our website and Facebook and minimal site visits by prospective clients from different demographics. We had to find ways to reach and educate more our clients and this paved the way of Legacy Leisure Residences offering virtual tours of our showroom, fast response to our website and social media inquiries, digital selling kits for our agents. Thru these, we were able to reach our target market across the border.”
With the new normal, most businesses are shifting into online selling and marketing, this will also be the approach of Legacy Leisure Residences. They will be enhancing their website to give prospective buyers the experience of Legacy Leisure Residence from the comfort of their homes with a click of a button.
“We will also be offering more flexible payment terms to lessen the burden of clients while we all recover from this pandemic,” said Yap.
Legacy Leisure Residences is the latest project of two of Davao’s highly-respected business-oriented families,Bangayan and Yap. With decades of experience and successful real estate and hospitality projects like Holiday Oceanview Residences, Camp Holiday Resort, Orchid Hills and Holiday Oceanview Village, they have earned the trust of the locals.
The construction of the condominium project may have halted for a while but Legacy Leisure Residences isnow back on track. With a sister company as the contractor, they are keen in finishing the project on schedule.
“We Believe that Davao Real estate is the shining future in the industry and we trust Davao will be the first to recover from this pandemic,” said the two young businessmen.
