A FEW WEEKS AGO, MEDIA, LIFESTYLE WRITERS AND BLOGGERS WERE INVITED TO A SPECIAL GATHERING OPENING ITS DOORS TO A GUSTATORY DINNER. WE WERE SERVED AROUND 10 DELIGHTFUL BESTSELLERS FROM THE ARTISANA MENU. ITS HARD TO TELL WHICH ARE MY FAVORITES BECAUSE ALL OF THEM WERE SO GOOD.

Pinoy Kangkong and Camote Tops with Lettuce, Seedless Grapes, and Malagos Chevre Cheese topped with Mangosteen Pineapple Dressing
Balut Al Ajillio
Cooked like a common streetfood kwek kwek The Balus is enhanced with plenty of Garlic.
KBL (Kadios, Baboy, Langka)
Remnds me of a famous Ilonggo recipe with slowly simmered lechon and pork meat.
A unique serving of two way pata where the hock is fried to crispy juicy perfection and the knuckle is braised Chinese Pata Tim style.
This was a star. Shredded crispy duck meat in a homemade adobo sauce.
My personal favorite. Chef Annie’s heirloom recipe. Named after her father. A localized Spanish mixed rice paella topped with a crispy Ilocano Bagnet.

Chipirones Adobo En Su TInta
If you love squid, this will make you happy. Chef Annie uses the squid ink to make it into a home made adobo sauce.
Truly delighted to finally have a taste of Beef Pares after so many years. And it did not diasappoint. Boasts a trio dish of beef, rice and soup inspired by Binondo Chinese of rice topping with clear broth.
An interesting fusion of Salted Egg and fermented Black Bean based sauce mixed with rice vermicelli topped with “Bihod” or Tuna Fish Roe.
Of course Chef Annie's desserts did not disappoint.

Soon, Artisana will begin serving breakfast with wide menu selection. In the coming months, the resto’s second floor function rooms may be booked for parties and private functions.
Its vast parking area will soon become a venue of a weekend market where fresh produce, home made delicacies and artisanal products will be part of the purveyors. Also by early 2020, bar will also open to cater those who who want to simply hang out and chill to cap off a night with friends.
