Philippine Pharmacists Association National Convention 2019: UNLEASHING THE HERO IN YOU

DAVAO CITY:  A 5-day convention will be held in  Davao City by more than 4000 pharmacists in the country for the Philippine Pharmacists Association, Inc (PPhA) 2019 National Convention from today April 30 - May 4 2019. With its theme: "Unleashing The Hero In You' the country's pharmacists aim to showcase their role in improving health care in the country. 




 Today, April 30, 2019  the convention kicked off with this morning's trade exhibit at the Davao City Conference and Trade Center.





PPhA President  Dr. Yolanda Robles shares that the annual PPhA national convention is a testament to the dedicatiin of pharmacists to help provide excellent medical services to the community.


PPhA Awards, Plenary sessions and Gala Night will be held on May 2-4, 2019 at the SMX Convention Center. 

 World Health Organization, Department of Health Asec Enrique Tayag and the International Pharmaceutical Federation Western Pacific Pharmaceutical Forum President John Jackson will be the keynote speaker. Also present to discuss how Davao Pharmacists helped deliver improved patient care is Davao City Mayor Inday Sarah Duterte Carpio.


Dr  Robles also added:  "The linkages among the Philippine Pharmacists Association, the national government agencies and local public institutions are crucial to the success of the profession in fulfilling their responsibilities to the nation.'
