Taste of Home at Mommy Gaya Restaurant by Edens

From then Eden’s Lechon atbp back in  2000, humbly started with only 4 viands in the menu, this family owned business owned by siblings Ligaya, Eden and Charlito turned out successful with the help of their entrepreneural and culinary background. Their first fastfood branch was at the Victoria Plaza and now expanded to  a number of more food carts in Davao.  Among the siblings, Ligaya who then resided at La Verna Subdivision in Buhangin didnt want to leave her old home and her 10 year old bakeshop. She eventually decided to renovate and convert it to a very homey dining place than can cater to at most around 40 to 50 people. MOMMY GAYA RESTAURANT BY EDENS serves authentic Filipino dishes. Including Maam Ligaya's signature Puto Bumbong.  I also fell in love with the cozy interiors and their extra friendly staff. It just like dining in the confort of your own home.  Last weekend’s food tasting lunch with friends from Davao Digital Influencers was really tum

From the first branch in Tokyo, which opened in 2012, OWNDAYS  - one of the largest optical chains in Japan now have 30 branches in the Philippines and continues to grow bigger as it opens its first store here in Davao City. OWNDAYS manufactures wide variety of high quality frames, all done in 20 minutes and all-in-one price to fulfill its commitment to give Filipinos better vision.  During the store opening last week, I was extremely surprised with the hip and beautiful frames they have on display. From classic frames to fashionable ones. Name it, they have it. More so with the quick 20- minute processing of your glasses. The all-in-one price is also a go-get-now attraction for eyewear shoppers. Because you dont need to pay extra for the lens or frames. You only pay one time for both! All frames are displayed and customers can freely try whatever frame shape fits them. How convenient it is to shop for eyewear in OWNDAYS ! Surprisingly, t

Rophe’s Chicken started out as a simple lechon manok take out station back in 2012 along Tiongko in Davao City. Chef Rophe Cambronero humbly admits starting young in food business. Rophe’s, he said was just a project, a business study he once did in college. From a lechon manok take out station, to a little dine in resto that can accommodate 20 people to now a buffet restaurant with 3 function halls that can  cater food and venue to parties, intimate gatherings even workshops and meetings. Rophe’s Chicken , located in kilometer 5 Buhangin, has three function halls that can cater all-in party packages to around 50-100 pax complete with food, decorations, host, lights and sound system, uniformed waiters and food attendants, Refer to their Facebook Page  for more details.  Function Room Photos: The cozy interiors of the buffet and restaurant area first caught my attention. There's this little corner in Rophe's that I find instagrammable.
