Globe,Disney Philippines Launches Volunteering Program "Time Please"

Philippines' leading telecommunications company, Globe and The wWalt Disney Philippines
recently released a collaboration to promote volunteerism among Filipinos by creating a program called Time Please, a nationwide volunteering program that calls to bring out more bayanihan spirit and encourages people to collectively offer volunteer acts with friends, family and colleagues.

Through Globe Telecom's portal www.timeplease.ph developed with Globe Future Maker IVolunteer Philippines and Gawad Kalinga, Time Please calls for individuals or groups of volunteers around the country and gives them opportunities to  share their time and participate in any volunteer programs to contribute to social development.

"We look at Time Please to extend Globe Telecom's purpose-led culture to our customers. With the help of technology, we wish to male volunteering more accessible to many Filipinos, thereby making it easier for our partnersand customers to contribute to nation building.' said Ernest Cu, President and CEO of Globe Telecom.

HOW DOES TIME PLEASE WORKS?

With an online access, individuals or groups from all regions in the Philippines can register for free and form groups to join volunteer acitivities enrolled in Time Please.
  • Each group should have a 2-4 members to be able to join
  • Each group must choose a Team Leader
  • Team Leader must be at least 18 years old
  • Group must have an active TM or Globe number to register
  • Group with the most number of volunteer hour credits at the end of the program will win an all-expense paid trip for 4 to Hong Kong Disneyland
  • Time Please will run from May 25 to August 19, 2018
