Project Hygiene Kit for Typhoon Yolanda Survivors
After seeing the sad aftermath of typhoon Yolanda that recently hit the Philippines seven days ago, it was heartbreaking. It took away thousands of lives and displaced thousands more in Visayas, paticulartly in the Samar and Leyte region. The huge number of survivors now are in dire need of basic necessities like food, water, clothing, medicines and at least a temporary shelter.

Whats Inside:
While the entire nation gathers local and international aid for the needy survivors, the Bloggers for Relief PH in partnership with Ateneo de Davao University launched its Project Hygiene Kit for typhoon Yolanda victims and its aim to reach 1,000 hygiene kits before December 7, 2013. With only a 100 pesos or USD2.50 ,one typhoon Yolanda survivor/recipient can benefit a week worth of hygiene essentials which is a very important health factor in surviving a disaster stricken community like Tacloban.
